Please join us for the Newaygo County Compassion Home’s Eleventh Annual Gathering of Friends on Friday, October 23, 2026, from 6:00–9:00 p.m. at the All Saints Church Event Center, 500 Iroquois Drive in Fremont.

This is a FREE community event featuring live and silent auctions, a bucket raffle, 50/50 drawing, complimentary appetizers and refreshments, beer, and wine, and most importantly, a wonderful evening of friendship, generosity, and community!

Community Conversations

Tuesdays: November 3 and 10, 2026

Time: 6:30-7:30 p.m.

Fremont Area District Library Community Room

Join us for an important series of interactive evenings that will address the widespread need for conversations that explore end-of-life concerns. NCCH staff, volunteers and hospice partners will start the difficult conversation around death and dying topics by answering the top questions our Care Coordinators hear, and share heartwarming stories of hope even at the end of life. Through gentle, honest discussion, attendees will learn from experienced caregivers, speakers and seasoned professionals about how to start difficult conversations around death and dying topics. Community members will learn about the mission of hospice and the unique partnership with NCCH, and begin gathering information and helpful resources to navigate the intricacies of end-of-life care.
